About MAT
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School - national or international - can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India.
MAT 2014 Exam Pattern
MAT 2014 is offered in two modes:
- MAT OnlineTest/ Computer-based Test (CBT)
- MAT Paper-based Test (PBT)
The exam pattern for MAT 2014 is subject to change. However, the usual MAT exam pattern in the past has been 200 questions divided equally between five different sections to be answered in a total of 150 minutes (2.5 hours).

Eligibility Criteria
MAT December, 2013 Eligibility Criteria goes it is not that complicated or demanded like the other management entrance exams. It basically states that the candidate willing to apply for MAT December, 2013 entrance exam must be a graduate from the recognized university and scoring minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The candidate can be a graduate in any discipline and the candidates in theirfinal year or semester are also eligible to apply, provided that they produce their mark sheets within the prescribed time to the institute if they get selected in any of the institute.
